Bo has been in customer-facing roles in this field since 1997. While at Open Text and beyond Bo's reputation is that he shares what he learns, and has the ability to grasp and explain complicated business and IT concepts and systems with elegance and humor. His knowledge of Content Server and related-systems has been described as "encyclopedic" by partners, colleagues, and clients.

Bo has a firm foundation in IT enterprise systems consulting. His deep understanding of functional decomposition, waterfall and iterative methodologies, information engineering, structured analysis/structured design, and object-oriented analysis and design has been of significant benefit in architecting Open Text Content Server solutions for clients around the world.

Bo's Content Server training and experience began at Open Text where he learned the value, significance, and potential of Content Server to fundamentally and positively effect how organizations structure, use, and leverage information. While at Open Text Bo was a pioneer in the Deployment Assurance Program, Community, Information, and Security (CIS) modeling, and Proof of Concept implementations. He helped to train internal staff, customers, and partners in these methods.

It became clear over time that more qualified and experienced Content Server people would be needed to support the growth of Document Management. Bo identified early on that the shortage of Livelink experts would hinder the broad acceptance of Content Server. There is still a shortage today, but there is also Supai Systems.
